War Threat and Netaji's predictions

Netaji, the Durgaputra

Many devotees of Netaji and Mahakal compare Netaji to Skanda or Kumar, Kartikeya, the warrior chief lieutenant of the Gods. Like Skanda, Netaji led the war against the evil asura of British Empire. He was a great war strategist. He was also a great devotee of mother Durga Kali who was also synonymous with the mother India. He fasted for the right of worshipping Durga in Mandalay prison. He also started his fast unto death on a Kalipuja day in Alipore prison by sending his famous notice to the Government. He carried his chandi or Durgashaptasati always in his pocket, which he borrowed from Swami Bhaswaranandaji of Ramakrishna Mission. The devotees of Mahakal went to visit him on every Durga Puja day, till he departed mysteriously in 1985. Mahakal called himself as Durgaputra. Some saints called him as avatar of Shiva, Sankara.
