The first school of Netaji was P E School, an Anglo Indian School where he studied for about 7 years. He then joined Ravenshaw Collegiate School in Cuttack and came under the influence of its headmaster, Beni Madhab Das, a staunch Nationalist. He studied in Presidency College before getting expelled from Calcutta University and later joined Scottish Church college after a two years gap in his study.
