Nazi friend of Bose - Dr. Lothar Frank

Writes Subhas Chandra Bose to Dr. Asoke Nath Bose in a letter in Europe, "A Nazi friend of mine from Berlin, Dr. Frank, will be visiting Munich in the X mas vacation...He is a lecturer in the Technische Hochschule of Berlin and is strongly Pro India. Personally I found him to be a very nice and dependable man."

According to Dr. Asoke Nath Bose, Lothar Frank belonged to the left wing of the National Socialist Party, that is believed in Socialism and did not merely pay lip service to the principle for which he paid the penalty later. Dr. Frank had come to India in 1970 and gave an address on the occasion of the Netaji Jayanti on 23rd January. He also wrote the epilogue in the book A Beacon Across Asia: A Biography of Subhas Chandra Bose. He was also a secretary of the Indo German society.
